This article was already discussed back on JANUARY 22ND when it was posted before.
Would I like all of the land to go to the states? Sure. Do all of the states want it? Not really.
Did even Reagan make a rush to do it? No.
Is this the issue of our time? Nope.
Are there any people on this site that refused to go to a national park because of this? I doubt it.

You are correct, not an over-arching issue of our time. However, it is reflective of his outlook toward the federal government, which he wants to remain growing and controlling.
