I swore I'd never cast a vote again for any reason other than principle.

Cruz is my number one. Trump my very, very distant no. two.

We, through the use of Candidate Donald Trump, have defeated the original GOPe scheme.

Trump supports immigration DREAMers. Two years ago, Trump met with immigration activists who told them their stories and asked for his support on immigration. "You convinced me," Trump said as the meeting ended.

Donald Trump with Antonio Tijerino, Estuardo Rodriguez, and DREAMer activists at his office....

I would add the following correction The pathway the RNC/GOPe constructed to elect Jeb Bush specifically was designed to eliminate/defeat Ted Cruz or another insurgent candidate Other than that...bingo!

We got the GOPe because we compromised on what really mattered.

The lesser of two evils is still evil!

Never again... never again!

During the gang of 8 debate. Where was Trump?

At his New York penthouse office atop Trump Tower - he convened a meeting.

"You know, the truth is I have a lot of illegals working for me in Miami," he told them, using the term for undocumented immigrants those in the meeting found offensive. "You know in Miami, my golf course is tended by all these Hispanics - if it wasn't for them my lawn wouldn't be the lawn it is; it's the best lawn,"Pacheco recalled Trump saying.

The question I never see answered by Trump people is why they do not see the absolute theater that Trump is putting on for conservatives. Oh yes, he’s a mighty big voice and can certainly scream and insult, but where (oh where) did he come by these hard-won conservative principles? If this were a true conversion, he’d have a lot of ‘splainin’ to do. As it is, he explains nothing and acts as though his past (positions, friends, party affiliation, donations, convictions, morals and photo-ops) have nothing to do with anything.

Well, sir (and madam), they have everything to do with a candidate I will vote for. Trump, in fact, has no political record as a conservative unless it favors his enterprises. Strange, then, that he has become the conservative darling without so much as a glance at his CV’s.

Then again, there are more pissed off people out there than thinking conservatives or looney lefties so why should anything else be expected?

Go ahead, America - vote for your tantrum!

Trump University collapsed in a blizzard of lawsuits in 2010, and in 2013 the New York attorney general sued Trump University for $40 million for allegedly defrauding students.

Screw sundance. He’s been an Asshat this whole primary season and now expects to us to listen to him because he wants reasonable discourse?

Too late, buddy. You can take Trump and stick him up your you-know-what.

I have been trying to communicate this to Cruz supporters, however, they really do not want to listen. Certainly not to this depth, but the same conclusion: We must consolidate behind Trump. The sooner this is done in the primaries the more likelihood of the GOPe being unable to stop Trump in the convention process.

Does Trump have warts? Of course he does, but he is sincere in wanting to fix immigration, the number one problem this country faces that needs fixing immediately. I have faith that Trump will surround himself with the best of the best to deal with other matters he may not be up to speed on. But Trump is also a fast learner. Another thing Trump will attack= is political correctness that has gotten so far out of hand it borders on absurd.

Excellent article BTW. Thanks for sharing.

Now we start getting condescending pleas from the winners to support this carnival barker who is not that far to the left than Hliary. No thanks, that didn't work for me in '08 & '12.

I'll be voting for the most conservative 3rd party candidate.

Trump said he was totally against illegals and immigration - but it isn't true.
Trump said he was ALWAYS against the Iraq war, too, but it isn't true.

In a 2002 interview with Howard Stern, Donald Trump said he supported an Iraq invasion. In the interview, which took place on Sept. 11, 2002, Stern asked Trump directly if he was for invading Iraq.
"Yeah I guess so, Trump responded. "I wish the first time it was done correctly."
How much more deceit will the Trump supporters accept?

Donald Trump has many faces. Which one will he be wearing tomarrow?

Teddy jumped the shark with too much religion and dirty trix. Not a good combo. Now he will go back to the senate and try to get elected for another term.

Dan Hampton played for Holtz at Arkansas then went on to a stellar career in the pros. He was quoted as saying “I admired Holtz as a coach. But not as a man.”

I think people forget that Hillary literally has an army of zombies behind her. To beat her, the Republican is going to have to have crossover votes - a lot of them. Trump can get those votes, Cruz can’t. I said it before and I’ll say it again, Hillary has a lot of shills writing for Cruz, because she can beat him. That doesn’t mean actual Cruz supporters want Hillary. Discriminate, and understand the difference. I don’t trust Trump to be a conservative. But I think he’s the only one who can win. And I know he’ll be nowhere near as bad as Hillary would be. In fact, I don’t believe America would survive Hillary. So in comparison, Trump is massively preferable.

IN COMPARISON.

That’s real life.
