Mark it down, said Joe Scarborough. Okay, done. On today's Morning Joe, Scarborough repeatedly, emphatically, declared that Ted Cruz's campaign is "over." The campaign ended, said Scarborough, when Cruz lost evangelicals in South Carolina to Trump, despite the Donald's praise of Planned Parenthood.
Scarborough let it be known that he would have voted for Jeb Bush, and also admires John Kasich. But with Jeb gone, Joe wants to clear the field of both Kasich and Cruz to set up a one-on-one between Rubio and Trump. Given the criticism of Scarborough for what some of us saw as bias against Rubio, interesting that Joe now would like to see Rubio, among all others, given the chance to take Trump down.

Knee padders for Trump...

LOL!
Scarborough is great.
He is one of the few who get it.
Apparently most evangelicals and conservatives want Cruz out of the race too. It’s not exactly unchartered territory.
It is amazing the look Mika can create with just one curtain....
Very clever,BB!
Subliminal.
MJ is by far the best political show on politics in the am
Yeah, one of the 2 who’ve won a State should drop out. Real Smart.
Joe is right. Cruz is on a farewell tour at this point.
Joe Scarborough is GOPe to the core. Yes, he wanted Bush or Kasich and now Rubio.
Whoever advised CRuz that getting in bed (PUN!!) with Beck was a good idea should be banned from ANYTHING thing to do with a political campaign, permanently!!
Worst political advice ever!
Cute....or, Mika and Joe.
Yep.
Did you happen to catch his post NV gathering interview, last night?
I had C-Spam on, waiting for the Trump rally...and they were showing reporters questioning CRuz, while waiting to cover Trump.
Talk about a rambling and incoherent interview. It was bizarre. He was defensive (they were asking about the Rubio Bible incident) and would jump from subject to subject...Rubio....Trump...Rubio...then, just started blurting out policy points (??...hard to tell), randomly.
I missed the interview. I’ve kind of tuned Teddy out at this point as I think he’s pretty irrelevant. It appears desperation is setting in bigtime. I think Trump may take Texas away from him too.
Are you kidding? Lil Joey has made it clear on at least 3 occasions that I know of that he is very open and encouraged to accept the VP slot with Trump!!! Ever wonder why his nose is so brown?
Cruz ain’t over, but it’s looking more and more unlikely. He’d be a fool to drop out before SuperTuesday.
With respect, Cruz’s Iowa win is insignificant. Santorum won Iowa in 2008. Would you have urged him to stay in the race then, although he had no realistic path to the nomination?
If there was ever a state where Cruz should have been able to beat Trump, it was SC. Not only did he lose, he lost among evangelicals. Game over.
I have Morning Joe TIVO’d but no time to watch it.
He actually said he was planning to vote for Jeb?
LOLOLOLOL.
Wait till Donald Trump confronts him over THAT!
(I think Scarborough put that nugget out there as bait).
