GO TRUMP!!!
If Cruz loses Texas by even one vote, he’s out. And if he wins, it’s proportional and won’t help much. He’s done
Cruz is “wildly popular” in the south.
It has to be true because I read it on FR.
So after Super Tuesday, Trump, Rubio, Kasich, etc will suspend, right?
Yep, best he can do is win some of the delegates, and he’ll still be way behind. Trump needs to roll into the convention with > 1237 delegates because that’s the only way I feel confident the RNC-GOPe can’t screw him over. And I’m nervous about it even then.
Of course if Cruz had managed to win, the DNC would have filed lawsuits in federal and probably every state immediately and he could never have won in the general election. They may try it on Rubio, who knows...by that time the DNC may have bigger things to worry about.
Add me to your ping list...please.
~smile~ just got a robocall from Attorney General Laxalt saying “tomorrow” is caucus day, vote for Ted Cruz vada vada vada. Wonder how many people will get that call today reminding them to go out tomorrow (instead of tonight).
Guess it depends on how dumb Cruz voters are.
HarleyLady I am STILL worried about Rubio!!! This was their plan all along to push this amnesty person down our throats!!! This is the first time in YEARS I have felt FINALLY the damned border WILL be closed!!! My gut is knawing at me that we will be crushed !!!! If we don’t get that damned border closed our nation is DONE!!!!
That’s my Trump! GO TRUMP!!
Spot on.
The world is in denial, about TRUMP. It is already over. TRUMP will win the nomination. Cruz and Rubio are both already done. The rest is theater.
What’s left is observing just what it might be that Cruz and Rubio are offered, and who pays them, in cash or power or position, to get the heck off stage. lol.
Rubio seems to always need money, so cash might run him off.
Cruz seems to always crave increasing power, so position may get him to take the exit.
I don’t really believe that. They lost. They need to go home soon, or look silly after Super Tuesday.
“If Cruz loses Texas by even one vote, he’s out. And if he wins, it’s proportional and won’t help much. He’s done”
I would agree with you that he’s about done. I predict that he’ll drop out after Super Tuesday, even if he wins Texas, because Trump will likely win 10 or 12 states and it will effectively be over. Cruz is NOT going to do so well in the north. I would expect some kind of quid pro quo agreement between Trump and Cruz where they’d both gain - Cruz a cabinet position (A.G.) or SC appointment, and Trump an endorsement and some campaign speeches. I would, personally, love it if the 2 of them combined forces, though walking back all of the nasty comments on both sides (mostly Trump’s) will be difficult. I REALLY want Cruz as AG, to be able to have a great deal of influence over judicial appointments and also to keep Trump on the straight and narrow.
Time will tell.
