We have a real opportunity in this election, which we are currently squandering, to convince black people that conservatives are their natural allies. We want good, wholesome communities for all peoples, good schools, good jobs, etc, Everybody improves themselves and we all improve together. The left wants black people to stay poor and pathetic so they can use them to increase their own political power. We really need to start explaining this better.
But with the Sharptons and Jesse Jackson's as their heroes, it won't happen in the near future.
