Huckabee would make a very good choice for VP IMO.
A southerner complimenting Trump’s NE appeal.
And a governor.
Trump’s already got Southern appeal. Cruz would have been great if he hadn’t gone over to the dark side, because Trump needs a true conservative pol to both reinforce his understanding and selection of conservative policies—and to reassure the base that he will govern conservatively.
The GOPe has been screaming that Trump’s not a true conservative—so they should want him to balance his ticket with one.
Also, he needs someone who can help him with Congress, not another executive-heavy candidate.
And all around that’s not Huck.
