well, if you can tell us what trumps plan is other than “erase the lines” you’ll have done 100% better than trump did last night!

Dont be mad just because your boy was shown to be a simpleton last night. I’m just glad he didn’t repeat himself at all!

HAHAHAHAHA

Did you notice how many times Trump would be making a point and they would start shouting over his words?

Hmmmm. Who was it who first brought that particular tactic into the arena? Who is it that replies to challenges that he provide any amount of substance to his promises only has "You're a liar!" as a response?"

I do have an advantage of not watching television. I listen on the radio so I concentrate intently on the words each man is putting forth.

Trump never answers a direct question with a direct answer. Rather, he has a set of planned diversions and distractions and a stock set of insults memorized and repeated ad nauseum.

A couple of times that he was pinned down and tried to give a direct answer last night were somewhat revealing:

1. Equivocal on support of Israel.

2. Said he would need to ask others who to appoint to SCOTUS. This one is especially damning, because it reveals that he himself lacks the ability or desire to analyze and understand the type of man we need to replace Scalia.

And on #2 - it's too bad no one confronted Trump's criticism of Scalia's remarks on affirmative action. That was yet another red flag as to Trump's understanding of the serious matters the Court is dealing with.

Highlight of the night:

“Toward the end of the debate, even Cruz and Rubio seemed to lose their enthusiasm for the fight. The attacks degenerated into arcane discussions of Supreme Court jurisprudence between Cruz and Hugh Hewitt, whether John Kerry is worse than Hillary Clinton and arguments over the 2004 election. It was like overhearing a Federalist Society meeting at a cigar bar - all completely irrelevant to the politics of the moment.

During the debate and during the infomercial-esque Chris Cuomo interview after the debate, Trump said again and again that he was enjoying himself and that his opponents were losing badly. These are perhaps the most credible things Trump has ever said.”

All of which is true. Towards the very end Cruz and Boobio reverted to form. The one thing The Donald is truthful about is none of his opponents are in his league. This morning’s post-debate polls bears this out. You can’t make it up that no one can touch Trump. Anywhere.

You Trumpsters are an echo chamber. I hope you lose sooner rather than later because I don't want you to be devastated.

>>But, he doesn’t have to convince his followers, does he?

He already did that which is why they are his followers. So far, nobody else seems to be able to do even THAT job!

Trump should have just ridiculed Rubio’s inexperience and disastrous finances, and said he doesn’t belong on that stage.

If you can cite us one poll in which Trump plummeted, feel free to indulge.

I am for the record, not his fan. But I see reality as it is, not how I would like it to be.

After watching last night I am now certain none of these guys could ever beat Hillary and her vast collection of "Free Stuff."

The GOP has had over two decades to understand and develop telegenic advocates for limited government, and they just haven't been able to do it. Rubio doesn't look presidential. Cruz doesn't sound Presidential. Trump looks and sounds like a South American dictator. Carson is a non-entity. The only one who had a halfway "adult American leader" presence was Kasich, but the neocon garbage that kept coming out of his mouth nullified his candidacy immediately, even if he had more than 1% support.

I expect Trump to win the nomination easily. I expect him to lose the general election to the Clinton/MSM coalition. I expect even if he does manage to squeak by Hillary, he will prove to be a giant "consensus-building" disappointment to conservatives and libertarians. He will also misuse the power of the office to reward his allies and punish his enemies - just like the current incumbent.

The Republic is in peril.

So a president who consults advisors....is damning? You mean like every other frickin president in history?

If he said he wasn’t going to talk to anyone, you would be bitching about how THAT was arrogant.

Rubio AND Cruz are ineligible to be the President. Doncha know the dems are going to sue if either one of these Buffon’s are the nominee.

Building the wall statement by Trump is the reason we are voting for him.He then doubled down on making it 10 feet taller. Its the reason he is beating the competition hands down and I think you know that. The other issues can wait

I still give the odds to Cankles.

A President Trump will be exactly like Obama - in reverse.

fear not...the trumpeters here are delusional.

You do not seem to understand why people are supporting Trump, but if it makes you feel good to belittle his supporters, well bless your little heart, you go right ahead.

Yep. He is going to be destroyed in the general once they dump >$500 million in negative ads on his head. But hey the GOP isn’t the stupid party for nothing. Taking it to a new level!

"erase the lines"

Here is where you clearly don't "get it".

Trump fully understands his audience, both in the studio and in the endless news bites that constitute 'coverage' in our modern dumbed down media (and electorate).

You want to hear something detailed and incisive, with fully scoped out projections of how this goal and that goal will be approached, engaged and completed.

And such a presentation would not only go clear over the heads of the majority of voters, those same voters would then decry Trump talking over their heads, flooding them with too much information, ad nauseum.

Trump knows this, what appears to be repetition to implement tossing posters like you, is a concise approach which will be remembered long after all the detailed verbosity you long for has been quickly forgotten.

Happy to help.

“Trumps bullying performance.”

You gotta be kidding? He was attacked from all sides - Cruz, Rubio, the moderators, and the audience.

He stood up for himself and won. Pretty impressive.

The polls had him winning in Iowa, he didn’t. As the field narrows, he’s going to go down. He projects all the time. He is what he says about everybody else. Most people cant stand his obnoxiousness, especially women. Nobody wants to take a chance on his mouth getting us into WWIII. He is never going to get nominated.
