The super-PAC supporting John Kasich tried a new ploy with potential donors Thursday: Give us money, and maybe Sen. Marco Rubio can become Kasich's running mate now and president in 2024.

He’s basically responding to people speculating as to why in Hell he hasn’t already quit.

The only reasonable answer is he wants to do well in Ohio on Mar 15 to prove his value as a VP choice for whoever the nominee is.

I agree. But could it change? Kasich, as well as Carson, came across as dignified yesterday while T. Cruz and Robot Rubio were like yapping lap dogs. Still, unlikely.
