What we are seeing is a form of desperation mob mentality. Trump being arguably one of the world’s best businessmen, is also a salesman.

His rise on the political scene though demonstrates that ‘cult-like’ worship isn’t just a left wing phenomenon. He tells little lies and big lies ...yet his supporters dismiss this out of hand.
Trump's popularity, I think, comes from the people who have lost all faith in the Political Class, in the Establishment. Whether it's Ted Cruz, Rubio, Kasich -- all of them are dependent on the Establishment Donors. The perception is that each will say the script which will appeal to their particular faction, but when elected will obey their financial masters.
Townhall, Washington Post, National Review, New York Times. They're all freaking out this weekend. White-knuckled panic.
