I flew four Airbus 321’s last week. I swear the distance between the seats (front to back) is getting smaller.
It was interesting, there was a very large man trying to get into the lav on the last trip. He had to squeeze through the door. How he turned around once he got inside I don’t know. Now that I think about it, he was a guy so he didn’t have to. But I bet he couldn’t turn sideways to wash his hands.

I'm informed that the airlines set up the seating space, not the manufacturer. Still, I've come to hate the 319, a mainstay of American (?) Airlines and a few commuters. The 319 seats leave 4-5 inches of space from the tip of my hose to the back of the seat in front of me. Covered in smooth horse blanket trim and bolt upright, it is impossible to catch a nap in these seats. I will be more selective next time.
