“The FBI has been claiming they just need Apple’s one time help.”

Nope. That’s been debunked and the truth is that it’s more than just one phone.

“If that story is correct”

That STORY is NOT is the filings nor is it in Apple’s description of what they are being asked to do.

>>>allow Apple to sell phones that cannot be cracked.

You can buy a hackable phone or a not hackable phone.

Which one to you want?

Terrorists will buy the iPhone.
Apple will protect them.
BTW what is the NSA doing with all that spying equipment?
You have terrorists and the Clintons etc attacking the USA and they cannot put a stop to it?

>>>”And people wonder why Trump leads...

Unfortunately, Trump and other candidates are on the AG’s side in this case.

Not good for Apple if they have attracted the official attention of the regime. The Race Obsessed Loon leading the National Socialist party might resent being defied by a Homosexual, and do the same thing that the last Fuhrer did.

“We have to decide,” she added. “Do we let one company, no matter how great a company, no matter now beautiful their devices - do we let one company decide this issue for all of us? Do we let one company decide this is how investigations are going to be conducted?”

“We have to decide,” she added. “Do we let one Progressive DOJ, no matter how self acclaimed great, no matter how beautiful their lies and deceptions - do we let this overbearing DOJ decide this issue for all of us? Do we let one Obama pimpette decide how the Constitution is going to be destroyed?

but that the government is holding out, demanding a universal software tool where the feds can crack any iPhone on their own discretion.

If this is true, they certainly haven't provided any evidence to support this claim. I personally don't believe them, because I don't see us as being the sort of nation that would accept this, even as a notional idea.

I think this is just an opening shot in an Apple initiated propaganda war because they don't want to keep opening phones even if there is a search warrant for them.

And people wonder why Trump leads... Trump came out in favor of the Government's side in this dispute.

There are many things Trump is wrong on; considering how many Freepers agree with that position, seems like a pass to me. Then again, they, like Trump, only read 'Apple won't unlock a terrorist's cell phone' rather than 'Apple won't develop an entirely new OS AND digitally sign it to permit the FBI to maybe hack the San Bernadino County phone used by one of the terrorists...'

Well, I think your post is a false flag trying to keep me from believing the truth. Or is it? I don’t know, as a conspiracy theorist, I get so confused.

Make applesauce of Apple. Crush them and send Scott to jail.

We are at war with Jihadist Islam and this is no time for rich businessmen to opt out of helping our intelligence people on superfluous grounds.

As Socrates would say, “If you’re given a rotten apple, make applesauce out of it.”

Govt has no right to crack anyones phone.

You sound like a lackey here buying into the sdcurity bs mantra that is always spouted to reduce privacy and freedom of everyone.

They can do whatever they want to it as evidence, but they cant make apple help them. Or demand they create a tool for them.llet the nsa geniuses do it besides they have names and numbers without requiring any breaking of the phone.
