How about instead of....

"like Hitler who hates and gasses jews and aims to conquer Europe to further the Ayran race."

It's.....

"like Hitler who used his charisma to fool masses of people into following him and giving him unchecked power to pursue his own misguided agenda"

It's also interesting to note that Hitler's message while coming to power was that he would bring the humiliated nation back to being great again.

I don't think there is anything racist about Trump at all. I think he views blacks and mexicans the same way he views everyone else....as objects to use to glorify himself.

I would attribute that part of Hitler's message not so much to the fact that Hitler was evil as to the fact that Germany WAS a humiliated nation, robbed blind by the Versailles Treaty, reparations, etc. The removal of the Kaiser was a psychic trauma to the Germans akin to having one or more family members murdered.

The causes of charismatic leaders range from good and just to evil and rotten. For example, Hitler was charismatic, persuaded people to a cause, and was evil. While Reagan was charismatic, persuaded people to a cause, and was good.

If you want to justify comparing Trump to Hitler without being ridiculous, and losing any credibility you might scrape together to claim that Trump is being too harsh in his own rhetoric, you need to show not just charisma and persuasion, but horribly evil. But the fact is, he is not horribly evil, so its self defeating for people to go there.
