Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney is the presidential candidate who is responsible for President Barack Obama – unwilling to take on the President, or things like his ties to radical Rev. Jeremiah Wright and domestic terrorist Bill Ayres.
Obama, being from the Chicago school of politics, wasn't as polite. He exposed Romney as a "vulture capitalist" who made a fortune off of buying companies, laying-off employees, and selling the companies in pieces. By the end of the campaign, Romney's questionable business practices were known by every voter.
Now, Romney is attacking conservative businessman Donald J. Trump. Because Trump is self-funding his campaign, the GOP establishment and political class can't control him. And that makes Romney angry!
Romney's full speech was leaked, and included shameless and untrue attacks, such as:

Here's what I know. Donald Trump is a phony, a fraud. His promises are as worthless as a degree from Trump University. He's playing the American public for suckers: He gets a free ride to the White House and all we get is a lousy hat.
His domestic policies would lead to recession. His foreign policies would make America and the world less safe. He has neither the temperament nor the judgment to be president. And his personal qualities would mean that America would cease to be a shining city on a hill.
But in one tweet, Donald Trump's son Eric embarrassed Romney in a huge way. This says everything you need to know!
Eric shared a video of then-candidate Romney excited to be endorsed by Trump during the Presidential campaign. Romney knew his campaign was in trouble, and was aware that Trump represents the conservative base that wasn’t excited to vote for Romney.
When things were tough for the Republican Party, Trump took time away from his business to campaign and fundraise for Mitt Romney. He’s a team player.
Now, Mitt Romney has shamelessly stabbed his fellow Republican in the back. In doing so, Romney reminded the conservative base exactly what he thinks of them.

So Romney once again reaffirms what we all knew.He has been and will always be a prick.
Mitt Romney is the 12,456th person to make the case against Trump. Whether he’s right or wrong on the merits, this is not very helpful.
I think Trump will get more votes as a result of Romney’s treason. And I’m a Cruz supporter.
Unfair article, McCain gave us Obama, Romney just couldn’t unseat the guy who brought the biggest tax increase in American history.
If Romney had consistently attacked Obama in ‘12 as hard as he attacked Trump today, he might’ve saved the world 4 more years of the most destructive Presidency in U.S. history. Failure to do so sealed his fate as a political loser. And today’s speech just highlighted that fact.
I think Romney is ruined. I mean he totally destroyed any degree or semblance of integrity or honor and appeared whorish in his doing the bidding of the failing establishment/donor class. That is my thought.
This will push Trump over the 50% mark.
Romneys overlords said “Hey Mitt. Lose any integrity that you might have had and do us a favor. Here’s a laundry list of talking points that we have against Trump. We already gave them to Rubio and Cruz and they’re doing fine. But we need you to go out and really sell yourself out. If you do this for us we owe you one....you know what I mean?”

My exact thought as well. I thought Mitt was a lackluster Presidential candidate, but always thought he was an honorable man. No more.
