Am I a “sissy” because I had to try and explain to my nine-year-old daughter what this exchange was about? Two grown men running for President of the United States ought to know a little bit about how to behave and speak in public. And parents should be able to introduce their children to the political process without concerns about the language and innuendos used by the candidates.
Do you think Rubio turned chihuahua of his own volition, or do you think he was put up to it?
If of his own volition, then he has the stupidest political savvy we’ve seen in a long time.
If put up to it, then he’s a claymation figure and doesn’t have a backbone.
In either case, he has most likely ruined his chance of ever being president. Probably nixed his change of being governor as well.
He was responding to the barbs and insinuations that Rubio has been throwing all week. Rubio is the initiator of the small hands jokes. Is Trump not supposed to defend himself? I suppose you don't think Rubio is filthy or nasty.
I'm sure if you had been up on that stage, you would have just stood there and rolled over under the barrage of attacks, right? You can't even take criticism on FR let alone on a national level. Get real!
People have been making fun of Trump’s hands going back at least to the running gag about “the short-fingered vulgarian” in Spy magazine, which means twenty to thirty years. And the joke about hand/foot size as proxy for the other thing was probably old when dinosaurs roamed the earth. The Donald is in no way, shape or form my guy, but going after him on this threatens to turn the permanent campaign into the permanent silly season...if it’s not there already.

Only two guys up there to behave as leaders and moral compasses for the party were Cruz and to a lesser extent Kasich.
I like that he started to give Trump a taste of his own nasty medicine, that initial stuff was brilliant.
When Donald’s junk comes up, it’s time to take a step back. Rubs is a smart and polished guy but he’s made some miscues.
