I think you mean “Solicitor General”. He did, however, serve with Greg Abbott when Abbott was Attorney General.

Still, your point stands.

Trump is a vulgar toilet mouth pig who would turn the White House into a dollar an hour cat house and saloon.

But then Trumpers are so seething with hate lies and vulgarity ..

In the real world, we call what you said being A BIG HYPOCRITE.

LOL, My granddaughter, her friend & I were watching the debate and we saw “what ever it was” move from his upper lip to his lower lip and then..... we were busting our guts laughing!

Now would a person with the “presidential class of Reagan” stopped talking, excuse himself, use a handkerchief to remove whatever and then proceed?

I can’t believe they managed to capture whatever-it-was in that much detail

We watched it move from his upper lip to his lower lip and then into his mouth. Don't ask me what he was talking about at that time, we were laughing to hard to hear. Definitely not a Reagan moment for Cruz.

Showing that famous Trump class, eh?

Going by your words here on F.R. in this thread, Miley Cyrus has more 'class' than you do.

You speak of having 'class', and then speak like a (in your own words) NO CLASS SLOB.

So, is that all you are here for is to attack Trump and anyone on FR that supports him ?

Why don't you just show your support for your candidate ?

Keep up your trash talk and you will get banned for making PERSONAL ATTACKS.

It's one of the RULES here on FR, it's on the HOME PAGE, maybe you should go read it.

Seems like quite a few of you trumpsters signed up around Aug of last year and you all seem to revel in juvenile personal attacks. Hmm...

Interesting that you resent personal attacks on TRUMP, but you don't seem to mind or notice all the personal attacks by posters on other posters.

I have seen it from both sides. On this thread, it seems to be mostly Trump haters. I would call them Cruz supporters but they don't mention him.

"Now would a person with the “presidential class of Reagan” stopped talking, excuse himself, use a handkerchief to remove whatever and then proceed?"

You're asking a really tough question. Thought the same if given the circumstances, what one would do, spit it out or swallow? (No double entendre).

I would agree with you Reagan and even GHW would have done what you described. Since Bill C took over, it's really gone down hill.

Spitting it out or doing as Cruz did would be the likely outcome and them hoping no one saw them do it.

With cameras (phones, etc) all over, it's likely someone will capture you doing something embarrassing and make it go viral which is what happened to Cruz last night.

His ego is bruised, but he will be okay.

But it's funny!

Now that is the kind of post and support that you should want, CW. Someone who posts something positive about their candidate.

If I were you, I would not want support from HAPPY RAIN, who seems to think making personal attacks is the way to debate.

I would be more likely to support Cruz if more people like HOTLANTA MIKE made more posts like this.

I suppose you will consider this a “juvenile” attack also but Ted scares the heck out of me.
As related to me by a Texas friend....
The similarities between him and Obama are downright unnerving.
Both have questionable birth circumstances and will not divulge the paperwork that would clear things up.
Both are “constitutional scholars”. Both have been nothing but lawyers. Both gained Senate seats not with the intent to serve those who elected them but as a stepping stone to the Presidency. Neither of them has ever held a real job of working for someone else or done a payroll so the are aware of just how hard it is to do business in America.
Both have wives who held “jobs” at which both were given huge promotions upon their being elected to senate. Both have been groomed since birth for the sole purpose of attaining the power of the highest office in the land. We now know what the power behind Obama’s push was and since I read up on the 7 Mountain Dominionism “faith” of Ted’s father who anointed him “king”, I question Ted’s goals.
I feel that the conservatism and evangelism were just his perceived niche to get himself into office. His behavior lately surely doesn’t seem along the lines of WWJD.

But it's funny!

It's life. Stuff happens. Using the current parlance, it should be known as a NOTHING BOOGER(burger).

It could have happened to anyone. It has nothing to do with the issues. It will hopefully be soon forgotten.

---------------------

That being said, had it been Trump, the Trump haters on here would be orgasming over it and posting gifs of it over and over and talking about how it made Trump A LOW CLASS SLOB. And yet, they would still not see the hypocrisy of their own words.

I am not talking about personal attacks on Trump. I am talking about personal attacks by Trump supporters who signed up in Aug of last year.

Maybe I missed it but I haven't seen much of this kind of stuff from Cruz supporters.

No need for the personal attack.

If CW was a staunch supporter of Trump, would you say the same thing about her ?

[We are fortunate to have him]

Yes, we are, which is why it was sad to see FR being used the last several months as a vehicle to do more than to defeat Cruz (on the behalf of Trump) but to also completely destroy him. The personal attacks and character smears were vicious and out of line.

You're right. Crap happens. Cruz will be fine. Just has to laugh about it if questioned. People take things like this and become socially suicidal.

Can't wear ones feelings on their sleeves.

And yes, the Trump bashing would be a lot greater if he had done it.

Maybe I missed it but I haven't seen much of this kind of stuff from Cruz supporters

Post 15 and post 18, for example.

One from each side, in this case.

What I have noticed is that (in a majority of cases) Cruz supporters don't SEE personal attacks when they are made on Trump supporters, and Trump supporters don't SEE personal attacks when they are made on Cruz supporters.

Maybe your 'bias' doesn't let you 'see' those attacks. But they are there. One could argue all day over which side makes them the most, which is like a kid saying so to his mom "Johnny did it, and his mom didn't care. Why can't I?"

What would be best would be is we ALL followed the rules of FR and didn't make any personal attacks on each other.

[This means separating church and state, not a theocracy for all of the Cruz supporters to pick the most Christian candidate.]

What are you talking about? I choose Cruz because he supports conservative solutions to our problems and can articulate why. He also is a defender of the Constitution. It has nothing to do with his religion, though I don’t hold that against him. I also admire the way Cruz will stand for his beliefs and stand for what is right, even if it means standing alone and going against his own party’s power brokers at his own personal expense.

It makes sense. They are getting paid by the post. With a bonus for using words like “idiot”, “loser”, “Nazi”, “racist”, etc.
