Born (Houston) and raised in Texas (mostly east Texas...kin all from around Coldspring/New Waverly area). Live on the water on North Padre Island outside of Corpus Christi now. We're about 15 minutes from the Padre Island National Seashore. Terrific surf fishing; wonderful bay fishing in the Upper Laguna Madre.

This site is where I spend most of my online time. Too interesting, too easy to get information and too many folks that share my values to go anywhere else much.

Pretty much love all the information and debates that show up on here. Spend a lot of time lurking on the crevo/evo threads. Don't participate much because I don't enjoy the rancor. But I like to read the thoughts and arguments; sharpens my own thinking and firms up my beliefs.
