Herschel Walker originally played with the New Jersey Generals in the United States Football League, instead of going to the NFL. The Generals were owned by Trump. At the time, the word was that Trump gave Walker far more than he would have earned from an NFL contract. And remember Walker was a huge college star and would have been a top NFL draft pick, if he had chosen to go the NFL instead of the USFL at that time.
People who have actually worked for, and with, Donald Trump support him strongly.
I think that says a lot about a man.

Now thanks to FReeper PUGACHEV, we know the reasons why the jerk was up there......he was told by the GOPe he was the sage of the century and all America would be agog at his utterances.
