Let's make this Olympics interesting for shooting.
One event for shooting mosquito's and other flying insects.
Another event for shooting at floating turds in the water and give points for how high they fly and style points for flips and splashes.
To: ImJustAnotherOkie
Sounds like fun. So how many floating politicians would we need?

No, this is shooting we’re talking about. Floating turds, er, politicians.

Beck is asking if stabbing qualifies. LOL! That quip was certainly unexpected. Well-played.

With all the liberal gun screaming I wonder how long this event will last.

Ya I’m surprised there is an Olympic shooting competition in the first place.

Or shooting stolen necklaces out of thieving Rio street urchin’s hands at 200 yards.

Sarah is a super young lady. She gets a lot of that from her father, who is also a great shooter and a phenomenal gentleman. One of the best aspects of competitive shooting is the quality of the people.

Being a passionate trap shooter, I’ve always marveled at Kim Rhodes. God how I envy the eyes and reflexes of those young people.

Anyone follow former Olympian Kirsten Jo Weiss on Yotube?Oh yah. I was particulary fond of the how many peeps to stop a 22 video. Also any video where she poses like Diana the Huntress and shoots over her shoulder. She's a knockout.

Interesting fact: When I was competing, riflery was the only ncaa sport not segregated by gender. But lefties still didn’t like us.

When I was competing we trained like the other athletes. We recieved athletic scholarships, not sportsman scholarships.

I take exception with your disparagement of shooting as an Olympic sport. I come from a long, long line of competition shooters. This isn't a skill for those not dedicated to putting in the time and training to be successful.
Our nephew is on the USA Team. He's been completion shooting since he was 3 y/o, using a miniature .22 called a *cricket*.
