oh, pleaz. Rush gives credit where credit is due according to what he considers “old debate standards” of substance and will support whoever is the Republican nominee. DT Barnum had a great cat-fight as usual but substantially it was Cruz and then Kasich.

No, Cruz didn't win. He was as much a joke in his own way as Rubio and Trump. He was condescending and pedantic. The only one who is getting any positive attention is Kasich.

FNC is to blame for this embarrassment because we need real debate rules with no interruption from other candidates. They wanted a rumble and they got it!

Well at least you are learning something from watching the DT Barnum style of debating for the office of President of the United States.

I thought Kasich had a strong debate performance.

But I'll be honest about the debate. The way the cards are stacked, the best Trump can do is not lose.

I don't know why Trump even bothers showing up. From the beginning it has been so obviously clear that these "debates" are nothing more than a coordinated effort between the moderates and the "not-Trumps" to take him out. They don't even try to hide it.

Rush is not supporting any candidate until the nomination for the Republican Party. He can and does tell things as he sees them and this was only a tiny part of his show. I want to hear the whole thing and find out what was so troubling.

EVERYBODY who doesn’t support my candidate is a GOPe puppet.

Megyn does not set the agenda for the American people. The American people do. Trump has tuned into the right frequency and no one else has.
Only in your dreams.

In reality, Trump has the highest negatives of any candidate in modern times.

Just because the Trump supporters are loud and obnoxious doesn't mean they are in the majority. The only reason Trump is winning primaries is because he has multiple opponents splitting the "anyone but Trump" vote, and because he's getting cross-over votes from Democrats who see him as an obvious loser.

You have a listening problem if you think that Ted didn’t annihilate The Donald.
What about SCOTUS, considering Trump’s support of Rotten and Kerry for President? You don’t want to think about that, do you? Face it, Donald would be an AWFUL president.

“I don’t know how else to explain this other than to say in terms of the old way that we used to consider qualifications for the presidency, the old way in which we used to analyze competence, Ted Cruz hit a grand-slam home run last night.”

Had nothing to do with not getting into the fray on the entertainment level because he did, remember, tell DT Barnum to breathe, breathe, breathe. I’m still laughing at the sight of flexible yoga.

Cruz is not going to get the nomination, just not going to happen, the ‘Cruz won the debate blather’ means NOTHING, the average Joe likes Trump, not haughty Harvard Boy.

“dumb ass..... pay attention

It does say a lot about Trump supporters when people can no longer tell the difference between a satirical comment and a serious one.

I guess Rush has dumped Marco FoamBoy for Cruz now, until Myth and Ryan magically appear.

“What the HELL!? Has it come to THIS!? Has Free Republic lost its way?!”

It was satire. But I understand why you think it would be a serious comment.

It would be news if Rush said anyone but Cruz one the debate. No bias on Rush’s part. /S
