I haven’t watched the show in a while, but if a person is picked “manager” or “team leader”, and that team wins, the manager’s charity gets the money. So if one charity got money twice, it’s probably because the manager was picked to manage twice and the team won twice.

That would make sense except for a few things. The winner in season 2012 was Arsenio Hall so he won the $250,000 grand prize for his charity - The Magic Johnson Foundation. Why does that not show up and only a $10,000 donation from the Donald J. Trump Foundation on the foundation’s 990? The 2013 winner was Trace Atkin’s who also got the $250,000 grand prize for his charity – The American Red Cross, yet no donation what so ever is listed to The American Red Cross on Donald J. Trump Foundation’s 990 for 2013.

That is because The Donald J. Trump Foundation doesn’t provide the prize money; NBC/the producers of the show do.
