According to a piece in the feminist blog Bustle, the tradition of men proposing women is “problematic” because it “perpetuates rape culture.” Yes — not “problematic” because it perpetuates recklessly emotional social media posts, but because it “perpetuates rape culture.”

Isn’t marriage itself part of rape culture?? I thought somebody has said that in marriage, the woman is owned by the husband, she takes his name, loses her identity, all of that, to be subservient to him.

I have grown kids, divorced and have gone MGTOW. I STILL get hit on by women in public, so now I won’t go out to even the store until either opening or 15 minutes to closing, or I take a friend with me as a witness. In today’s world sadly you must cover yourself in every way possible against women and a potential rape or abuse allegation.

I thought no the woman that talk a out rape culture have very likely been victims of sexual abuse and are prone ting their trauma on to everybody else. The ones who say that all “PIV” sex (penis in vagina) is rape strike me S being especially likely to have been victimized.
