Trump polls much better than he does when the votes are counted. He need a 12-15 point lead for me to believe he’ll win the. 11 point lead means a very close election and I give the slight edge to Cruz.
Honestly, the poll is a mess. It included Carson, who I believe polled 11%, but is not mentioned in the release.
I don’t think it’s a matter of a lead not holding. Trump’s lead has held in most bigger states or states widely polled.
It’s these smaller states without enough data and caucus states where the polls don’t reflect reality.
Now that we know that the GOPe is counting the votes at caucuses, expect a magic 30% jump for Cruz.
You know....because his “message is resonating”.
A poll that is based on data 2-3 weeks old and includes Democrats is worthless.
Rubio and Kasich have zero chance in the nomination, so any of their voters will be going to Cruz; and hardly any going to Trump. there are also the Carson voters who appeared to go strongly for Cruz over the weekend.
When Carson told CPAC the kind of candidate that the voters should support, he was describig Cruz.

The media is pushing Cruz as anti-Trump. They're not doing polls because big leads favor Trump. They're calling Trump Hitler yet not a single word about the supposedly hated Cruz. Ted's war chest blew up with incoming GOP $ and he didn't turn it away. You'd better hope Trump's leads hold up because it's GOP or Trump.
