He endorsed Thad Cochran too:

http://thadformississippi.com/endorsements/

“I am glad Senator Cochran is running for re-election and I, like thousands of Mississippians, had encouraged him to do so. He is the father of the conservative Republican takeover of Mississippi, and his wisdom will be an asset to the conservative cause as long as he serves. We as Republicans have a major fight in Washington to unwind the Obama agenda in the next six years, and we need our best minds on the job. I hope all Republicans will rally behind Thad Cochran.”

Again, the Mississippi Governor endorses the establishment candidate, just like Romney in 2012.

Yes, and you would think this would be national news, given that MS votes tomorrow. But I have not seen any coverage of this in any national media. Whenever Rubio got endorsements from governors or senators, Fox/CNN, etc. trumpeted it all over the news.

You are right. Cruz will never be president.

The thing that Cruz supporters can’t seem to get through their head is if Cruz is president he still has to deal with the same congress that Hillary would have to deal with. They will let Hillary do what she wants and if Cruz wants to do anything he’ll do what he’s told. So, I see no difference in the two. They’re both beholden to big money.

Gov endorsed Cochran, but hasn’t their victim, Chris McDaniel also endorsed Cruz? Seems to me Cruz is actually uniting the MS GOP.
