Ultimately will not matter, as January 19, 2017 will go down in history as Pardonmageddon.

Lynch is stalling. It would knock Hillary out of the election, which it should, at a minimum.

You can’t pardon anyone of a crime that they haven’t been convicted of yet. So no trial, no conviction and no pardon. Then the next president is free to set his dogs loose on the criminal Clintons.

My wife has long held this notion. However, he can only pardon her if she is charged during his administration. He cannot pardon someone who has not been brought up on charges. However, if parties wait until he has left office to press charges, the process will proceed. A lot can happen between now and then tho IMO...

Don’t you have to be indicted or convicted for a pardon to do anything?
If you were accused but had no formal charges, pardons shouldn’t mean anything if new charges come up.

Can she be pardoned if no charges are brought? Maybe it would be good for no charges from DOJ. Then the new AG could bring the charges next year when she could no longer be pardoned by BHO.

I wonder if congress can pass a law voiding all pardons handed out during the last year of a presidency... even f it is a president I trust ....I don’t like that power being used because there is nothing to check it.
