This would be stupid on his part. He’s already gone this far. His name will be on the ballot, so he will be embarrassed one way or the other anyway. And certainly if he goes out tomorrow or Friday, it won’t be in enough time to help Cruz.
It was stupid on his part to even run in the first place
There’s a middle path Rubio could take, that would save his dignity, and perhaps his political career.
No, I’m not going to spill it, because I’m not interested in helping him get through this gauntlet unscathed.

I agree. It just not make sense. I can see him dropping out after Florida though. That is if the GOPe does not make him an offer he can’t refuse.
zI want him to stay in until after Florida - to hurt Cruz. Just saying............
He’d rather be embarrassed than dead politically.
“if he goes out tomorrow or Friday, it wont be in enough time to help Cruz.”
Rubio probably prefers either Trump or Clinton to be the next president. Cruz is a younger man and a more natural future competitor.
It’s not stupid if he wants to be gov or VP.
Also when I voted in VA all candidates are listed even those that dropped outa while ago.
The other side of that is that if he doesn’t drop out and loses badly, his future chance for any other political office is substantially reduced.
I think this is about the only smart thing left he can do. If he gets pounded in a GOP caucus vote, then his Senate seat is very much in jeopardy (moreso than now at least). If he gets out beforehand, he’ll have some plausible deniability regarding how he would have done.
