Illinois Senate candidate Rep. Tammy Duckworth, D-Ill., criticized the National Republican Senatorial Committee for releasing a tweet that appeared to be a swipe at her status as a disabled veteran.
Earlier in the day, the NRSC released a now-deleted tweet saying, “Tammy Duckworth has a sad record of not standing up for our veterans.” Duckworth lost both of her legs during the Iraq War while piloting a helicopter.

I’m sure the swipe was inadvertent, but it was a dumb thing to say. It gives her a chance to play the victim card.
This actually pretty interesting.
Mark Kirk had a stroke and he has some sort of miltary record.
Rep. Joe Walsh (R) the “deadbeat dad” was the only one who had the balls to at least trash Tammy Duckworth & her Dem leadership ring kissing.
Walsh wasn’t a deadbeat dad but it’s funny that the people that most push back against the establishment have a lot of flaws personally.
It was a really stupid Tweet, regardless of her political affiliation.
Liberals have so destroyed the English language with political correctness that words no longer have meaning.
It’s not like they Tweeted “Stand up Tammy...Oh God luv ya”
That is a bad tweet. From the Wendy Davis gutter it seems. Remember when she tweeted how people should STAND with her because Abbot didn’t STAND for anything...Abbot being in a wheelchair and all.
It boggles my mind the operatives get paid big bucks to act so stupidly.
Why? The use of the words “stand up for” has nothing to do with anyones disability. It’s just a common phrase.

If I was Tammy I’d be thrilled that people were so challenged by me that they forgot my condition and said such a thing. I would celebrate.

She needs to grow up. Its a common saying. But being a victim is so cool I guess.
Realizing that Mark Kirk is a RINO. Duckworth is a far leftist. At least Kirk would probably confirm President Trump’s Supreme Court nominees.
BTW- What are Vet issues and how is Duckworth better than Kirk on that?
I will also say this about Mark Kirk- who I voted for today in the primary. He may be a moderate or liberal Republican..but at least he minds his own business and is not making the media rounds lecturing the Republican Party that it needs to change its platform.

Its a compliment. But she probably thinks shes so famous that everyone knows all about her. She’s probably one of 700 or so who have held that office since 2013.
