Oh sorry,

No Im younger than that. If I want to go Id have to pay for it.

I remember meeting one old Korean guy. He hadn’t seen an American since the war (this was early 90s). He wanted his picture taken with me.

what does the word ballistic mean in the phrase intercontinental ballistic missile?

It used to mean unguided. So the missile would be aimed like a mortar, fueled up like a powder charge (or a timed ignition programmed), and then let loose. Math determined it's accuracy. But it doesn't seem that the term ballistic has ever been dropped, has it. Everything seems to be a "ballistic" missile. Maybe someone military can chime in, you have an interesting question.

I dont know if that was supposed to be sarcasm or a simple observation.

I would think that Trump knows his weaknesses. If not being “diplomatic” with other cultures is one of those, I think he has already addressed that with the people who work with him on foreign property negotiations.

Am I concerned that he would be like “King Ralph?” Not at all.

The thing I am sure about Trump is that he is smart, shrewd, keen, experienced, whatever you want to call it. I think he would have the right people in the right places.

That’s absolutely not true! South Korea is amazingly respectful of US Korean War veterans and they paid for my grandfather to fly over there for the 50th anniversary observance!

Are you some sort of troll? Why would you say something so horribly untrue and so easily disproved????

When the movie “Captain America” came out, there were three nations where Americans are so hated, they couldn’t call the movie “Captain America”.

South Korea was one of those nations.

The missile is launched upwards, but the end of its flight is powered by gravity (free fall).

Apparently I learned that South Korea is more evangelical than Buddhist these days.

Sure we could. We have the capability and means to do so.

It's a matter of will.

The last 4 presidents have sat on their hands doing nothing about these turds. Maddening. Trump or Cruz or even Hildebeast needs to send in a team of seals. Hillary would probably want to make nice with them. Maybe she can go and visit. They could keep her for crimes against nature and put her in a concentration camp!

Bill Clinton and Madeline Albright did a lot more than sit on their hands. They gave North Korea the technology that made it all possible.

You'll need to Google it quickly to catch up to speed to mask your apparent ignorance about this whole issue because you are obviously ignorant about such critical elements and facts as the US-Japan Treaty of Mutual Defense, (do you think he can unilaterally abrogate it!?) the amount of Japan contribution to the stationing of troops there through omoiyari yosan contributions, the large amount of US nationals and business interests in Japan directly and closely threatened by DPRK?, our listening posts we have in forward bases on Japan to protect our assets all throughout the Pacific and now on the US West Coast? Do you any understanding of these?

It looks like you already have come a long way toward what I said. It is not a unilateral position where the US decides to “take out North Korea” and where we go ask Japan for their cooperation. pfffft.

Yeah, you don’t like Trump. Obvious.

Indeed. Trump is an opportunist, charlatan and chameleon, so yes, while I don’t dislike him, I do not trust him. He doesn’t pass the smell test with me.

I know a guy who spent many years in South Korea. He said the only thing stopping another Korean war was the US presence. He said that if we pulled out the South would attack the North.

I have no problem with that. Let them do as they will but we need to stay out of it. But then again so does China. North Korea is basically a moat/buffer between China and South Korea.
