You’re right about Trump’s wreckless wording of phrases about Japanese & Chinese.
TRUMP: “They’re taking our money.”
On NHK (Japan TV), that is interpreted to sound like they’re THIEVES.
What Trump meant to say is “They are outcompeting us.”
Totally undiplomatic on Trump’s part. he needs to apologize and make amends with Japan.

We’ve had enough “apology tours” for one decade, the Japanese are no longer at the kiddie table, they can deal with any perceived slight without the President-elect of the United States publicly groveling.
You go apologize to Japan and then stay there. The reason trump is winning is because we no longer apologize for being American ever. You would fit in with the Obama administration perfectly.
I dont know if that was supposed to be sarcasm or a simple observation.
I would think that Trump knows his weaknesses. If not being “diplomatic” with other cultures is one of those, I think he has already addressed that with the people who work with him on foreign property negotiations.
Am I concerned that he would be like “King Ralph?” Not at all.
The thing I am sure about Trump is that he is smart, shrewd, keen, experienced, whatever you want to call it. I think he would have the right people in the right places.
