How about if GM builds a plant overseas and uses it to produce a new line of vehicles that was never built in the U.S. in the first place?

I agree. The only problem is our UAW gets a premium on salary and the salary increases by a large margin every year. We pay overseas workers $5.00 less per person working in the plant. That is a huge margin on investment. Until we can align our salaries, we can’t be very profitable. It’s a catch-22.

The tax code is a problem. I honestly don’t know if it’ll get fixed. Any candidate can say they will, but it’s up to congress to make it happen.
