Now they will have to boost tuition a corresponding amount plus a bit more to pay for the wage hikes.

I am sure the politicians will try to fix this by pass a law that exempts the Universities, but the “genie is out of the bottle” the students are expecting a big raise. This will be fun to watch. They will start making exceptions and before you know it the minimum wage law will look like our tax code with special exceptions for all kinds of special interest groups....
