Everyone and his brother has been telling America that Trump is a racist. No need for him to repeat the same.
This needs to be treated for what it appeared to be: ATTEMPTED MURDER. Charges to that effect need to be filed.
The attacker got as far as putting a hand on the stage before he was stopped. That is way too close. Security needs to be faster and much more aggressive.
He got way to close. What if next time they send 3 or 4 towards him? you know they will try.
Who cares really, but if the table had been turned and a “right state” student had rushed the stage at a Bernie rally claiming he was going to say that Bernie was a Communist, the university would probably have expelled him by now. Not that it was a big revelation or anything... But I’ll bet Wright State never says a word about this.
That may have been the plan, but it also may have been a dry run for something bigger.

While I knew they would try to do everything to stop him, I admit to being very worried and uncomfortable seeing it happen.
And sad that I am proven right about the cabal ruling us. If they can’t have a purchased Cuban as a nom, they only have one bought candidate left, and she could be indicted.
We spend at least $2 billion a year of taxpayer money on the Secret Service in order that they can protect our top officials (and those with reasonable chance of being elected as such) and this is serious business. JFK, RFK, Reagan, Wallace, Ford are recent presidential or presidential candidate examples where attempts were made on their lives (some successful).
Anybody charging the stage of a president or presidential candidate that is protected by the Secret Service can and should expect to be immediately shot to death or at a minimum, body tackled and carried on stretcher to the nearest hospital in chains, with perhaps a broken bone or two to show for it.
The events of yesterday show me that we are not taking this very seriously. I mean this guy is back out on the street today! I'm concerned that next time, our complacency may have disastrous consequences.
Agreed - security needs to perform better planning.
As I recall the “stage” was really only an 18” to 24” riser - that’s totally insufficient given the circumstances. And it looked like it was ringed 360 degrees by spectators - another mistake.
Likewise, in going back through the video from Shitcago we see thugs gaining access to the stage. The only ingress and egress from the stage should be stage left and right - there should never be access directly from the audience.
The left had thrown down the gauntlet and declared war. We should be thinking strategically and responding appropriately.

This guy was grabbed at the edge of stage... The media hasn’r complained about this...
yet a female reporter put here left hand (with an object in it) on Trumps right elbow and a Sectret Service agent grabbed her arm and the media has gone batsh*t crazy about it...They even claim it was a Trump staffer who did it. (Which doesn’t really matter...You do NOT put your hand on a candidate in a crowd like that with some object in your hand without expecting to get cold cocked by ANYONE.)

There’s tons of cell phone video from the event, there was a 10 foot no man’s land and barriers ringing that stage, while it appears on the television cameras that the audience was right up to the stage, that was not the case.

This is the guy that “filmed an event” I forgot what Fox called it, but he drug the flag across the dirt and stood on it and degraded America. AND he supports ISIS, he needs a one way ticket to help ISIS out.

Note the steps visible to the right and the fact that the dias is about waist-high to the men. The security zones look to be what, 10-12 feet wide? The guy is really moving after he hurdles the barricade and it takes him several steps to get across the space. You can also see how many security people are visible and I’m sure there are others that are not as obvious.
Clearly wider clear zones and all are easier to arrange at the temporary venues like he’s doing at airports. Inside buildings, there are lots of places to hide and that’s a concern unless/until Trump receives the same full-scale SS protection as the Potus would get. I’m sure those in charge of security are reviewing and replanning as we type.
