Cage Match: Ohio Not ‘Signed, Sealed and Delivered for John Kasich’
Breitbart ^ | 3/15/16 | ALEX SWOYER

Posted on 03/15/2016 9:24:12 AM PDT by jimbo123

Ohio State Representative Wes Retherford, who is currently seeking his third term, told Breitbart News that Ohio certainly isn’t “signed, sealed and delivered for Kasich.”

“I think it’s going to be real close,” the Republican predicted about the Buckeye state primary today between Ohio Gov. John Kasich and GOP frontrunner Donald Trump. “I don’t think it’s signed, sealed and delivered for Kasich.”

-snip-

“It’s coming across as Kasich is desperate,” he added, referencing both Boehner and 2012 Republican nominee Mitt Romney campaigning for Kasich in Ohio, adding that Kasich is “pulling in people nobody wants to help him out.”

Blue Collar Democrats crossing over to vote Trump will give him the win. Just as in Michigan.

Kasickness came in third last week in MI, a state he was favored to come in a strong second.

He finished behind Cruz.

Cruz apparently over-performing in Ohio today versus the polls. Bad news for Kasich.

I guess all ONE of the Rubio voters he encouraged to vote for Kasich won't put Kasich over the top after all. This is once again going to be the year of the Reagan Democrat! Ronnie will put his stamp on this election from Heaven. Many of the fears and worries that are being hurled at Trump were also leveled against Reagan.

As goes Ohio - so goes Ohio. Even if by some unusual arrangements of arithmetic and sheer good luck, John Kasich DOES happen to pull it out of the fire in Ohio, what is his path to nomination? He is a spoiler at best, or probably entirely a non-entity for the rest of the primary campaign.

At the moment, there is only one viable contender for the nomination in the Republican party, and the ex-stablishment Republicans despise that contender, Ted Cruz, nearly as much as they hate, despise and loath The Donald.

That tiny wispy plaintive sound is the smallest violin in the world playing “Hearts and Flowers” for the ex-stablishment Republicans. All while they race about with their hair on fire.

I just voted in Ohio. Polling place was very crowded. I guess that’s a good sign. Another good sign was a collective groan as youngsters with”feel the Bern” shirts walked in.

How do you know Cruz is overperforming in Ohio?

I hope it's true, but wondering your source.

Just voted. The only signs out were for Trump. The party's local backstabbing elite are taking off their masks. There are panicked voice mail messages from them to vote for Kasich.

This is from people who up until yesterday or so were blaming Kasick for local governments being starved of finances we need. Now they support him? They've lost all respect and believability around here!

Nobody really knows how this will come out. If there are enough pockets of angry voters who've lost their jobs and their well being because of Kasick, Trump can win. Fingers crossed.

Can Cruz win

Ohio is a tough state to gauge, because its parts aren't connected hardly at all. That being said, Cruz hasn't been a presence here. The only TV ads he had were nasty little dittys telling anti-Kasick voters who didn't want Trump to vote for him.
