Sanders says he has a 'path toward victory' against Clinton

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders said Thursday he still maintains a “path toward victory” in his Democratic presidential bid against Hillary Clinton, rejecting suggestions that she has all but sewn up the party’s nomination.

“I don’t believe they have an insurmountable lead,” Sanders said in a phone interview with The Associated Press from Arizona, where he was campaigning. “Secretary Clinton has done phenomenally well in the Deep South and in Florida. That’s where she has gotten the lion’s share of votes. And I congratulate her for that. But we’re out of the Deep South now.”

Sanders said in the interview he would not seek a recount of results in Tuesday’s primary in Missouri, saying it was “unlikely the results will impact at all the number of delegates the candidate gets and I would prefer to save the taxpayers of Missouri some money.” …

The Bern is as delusional as Kasich.

Hillary is gonna be the nominee.

Yeah, he should pray for her to be indicted or for a contested convention.

Fat chance.

This is just Kabuki theater to make it look as if Hillary has a real competitor for the nomination.

The democrat party had the fix in for Hillary the day Obama became the democrat nominee back in 2008.

I think you're right.

I suspect his path has something to do with her cough. It’s a long shot, but what the heck.

Bernie has a path toward victory - he just needs a little bit of luck. Given that the people counting the votes already arranged for Bernie to lose six of six coin flips, and a draw for cards, I don’t expect anything else to go Bernie’s way if it’s close.

His path to victory is an honest election run by the party hierarchy. Not happening.

Hang in there Bernie! Keep fighting Hillary all the way to the convention! Make her spend money that she hoped to save for the general election! Force her to continue to speak on the campaign trail, because the more she talks, the worse she looks.

The only way the Bern has a dogs chance for a “ path to victory “ is if Vermont dipped into the state’s diversity fund and bought Bernie a dozen Panzers

He will not win if he keeps sending his violent thug supporters to start riots at Trump rallies.

He will not win. Clinton has the superdelegates. After Chicago, he won’t even get close.

A path TOWARD victory, maybe. A path TO ACTUALLY REACH victory, no.

His path to victory goes through one of those grass fields from the movie The Beach.

It would be interesting to see what happens if he wins the normal delegates but loses because of the superdelegates.

Apparently to date most of the democrat primaries have been in states that favor Clinton, but from here, they are in states that favor Sanders.
