People who abuse animals usually will abuse and do worse to human beings.

April Foster should be sent to a mental health facility where a regimen of the proper drugs can be used to "cure" her violent tendencies. She should be banned from ever owning a firearm and banned from being around minor children. If she has children, they should be seized and placed into competent foster care-preferable run by a church or synagogue.

Police said that’s when the suspect, April J. Foster, 29, approached an officer and his horse, Dan, and began screaming in the horse’s face in an attempt to scare him. When that did not work, Foster reportedly slapped the horse in the face with an open hand.

Dan is a brave horse. His name brings to mind a legendary mount who saved his rider from death by dehydration before leading him and his herd out of the Dust Bowl.

I am now thoroughly convinced that it is easier for demons to possess women rather than men. Yelling at a horse??? The last time I remember a man yelling at a horse (with considerably less vitriol) was on ‘Mr. Ed’.

The demonstrator was using an old school Communist technique dating back to at least the 1920s. To make the police look bad, Communists would agitate police horses, stubbing out cigarettes on the horse in an attempt to cause the horse to buck and charge. The effect was to show police as being brutal to supposedly peaceful demonstrators. The tactics are the same in the 2010s as in the 1920s.

I just commented on FB that my horse (an Appaloosa) would have done that. He’s quick, she’d have never made it back into the crowd. A friend said her horse (another App) would have accidently stepped on her feet.

If PETA were consistent, THEY would have her hanged! But abusing an animal while serving as a Social Justice Warrior probably offsets the abuse to PETA. The horse picked the wrong side so he deserved it, I guess. Most places in the USA, slapping a DOG would get you a year in prison, or more.
