He used teleprompters for this set speech. You can tell when he is reading a prepared text. In this case, when you are setting out policy, a set speech is best.
Those who have been asking Donald Trump to “act Presidential” just got a very bid dose of “Presidential”!

Trump did everything they said he couldn’t do, such as look presidential and statemanlike and give a cogent detailed speech with specifics.
Now those two hate him for proving them so wrong.

Both Will and Kraut had chips flying from their teeth - sort of like me when I see Obama or Hillary.
They looked such fools.
Sure looked spontaneous and without a teleprompter. But you are correct.He used one.

That was my impression. No teleprompters and no reading from a speech. Trump knew exactly what he was talking about and he connected with the audience. He hit a home run.
Just when you think Trump cannot do better, he exceeds expectations. This was outstanding and he did it all from stream of consciousness. Really breathtaking.
