The NFL has issued a warning to Georgia over that state legislatures advance of a so-called religious-freedom bill that protects same-sex marriage opponents from discrimination lawsuits, saying the measure, if approved into law, could impact where future championship games are played.
NFL policies emphasize tolerance and inclusiveness and prohibit discrimination based on age, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, or any other improper standard, NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said, CBS News reported. Whether the laws and regulations of a state and local community are consistent with these policies would be one of many factors NFL owners may use to evaluate potential Super Bowl host sites.

Goodall has made more than 44 million annually since 2011. He makes a few million in salary and then gets ‘bonuses’ from all the owners.
He must have pictures of all the owners and all the first draft picks.
Vice not piety is where the big money is. The NFL decided long ago to worship at the altar of Mammon.
NFL Football sucks.
I’m tired of the drama; I even hate the CBS themesong.
The pink ribbons nearly every game and nothing for prostate cancer.
They can shrivel up and go away for all I care.
Not only that, he’s so ‘valuable’ he got back in the game after his jail time. WTH?
The NFL has to keep the boys at ESPN happy.
so lets give it up. I love football but remember when we gave stuff up o make a stand.
if you “haven’t watched it in years” then your not watching it doesn’t help. Sorry.
those of us who watch it, stop1!!
As a business person it's common to say 80% of your business comes from 20% of your customers. I guess the NFL's going to figure out if 80% of their business is going to come from 3% of the population.
I’ve seen my last NFL foot am game. As far as I’m concerned they can go all gay.
Rugby puts the NFL to shame. Couldn’t agree more.
Tolerance and inclusiveness equals persecuting Christians. Seems to me the NFL is attacking its’ base. No problem boycotting the NFL here as I switched over to college football years ago. Besides, it now seems that NFL games are won or lost by the officials, not the players.
I think there is a much bigger picture here that needs to be addressed, that of corporations pushing a political agenda. We see it in Internet providers censoring posts and encouraging votes for a candidate and now in the NFL’s financial blackmail of a state. Commercials, television shows, and movies push a gay agenda that is against traditional family values. The base of sponsors is so broad that boycotts would probably have little or no effect. If I were super wealthy, I’d be buying stock in the major offenders and lead a stockholder’s revolt against the policies of management.
ON US
Exactly WHAT is their goal? Do they want everybody to be like them or what?
I shuddered when they had themselves declared normal.
Please yall, tell one friend that NFL are anti-christian bigots and join in a boycott against them.
Go fishing, spend more time with family, try another hobby with that same time.
From my perspective as a Marine, football has always was a gay sport.
Never trust any activity conducted by men in tight pants.
Yeah, it a bit disconcerting to have the QB puttin’ his hands in the center’s crotch. Yewwwwwww!
I wrote off watching anything NFL on Thanksgiving weekend 2009. The NFL had a spot where Obama was catching the big pass. I was in a sports bar in Minnestoopid when I saw that, and I asked how many takes they had to do, unless they used a body double and CGI’ed Obama’s head. I was kicked out since I had spaketh heresy.
I was a lifelong. tortured Falcons fan. No more. After Arthur Blank opened his liberal mouth and unless they have a good ownership change, I will never again pull for the Falcons. FU Arthur Blank!
Who gives a crap as football is becoming feminized anyway and probably has just a few more years of popularity!
Foes the NFL think that a MAJORITY of the television audience is gay???
I am plenty damn sure that is NOT the case!!!
The NFL thinks the majority of its viewers love crappy beer and think being judgmental is a heinous sin.
Well, unfortunately the NFL has a massive following. Public pressure won’t ever wane enough for them to change their liberal ways.
