Don’t you just love how everyone wants to insert themselves into Sarah Palin’s life. Makes me think they have no life of their own.

Given that she’s pretty much finished in elective politics (relegated to advisor, pundit, and aspiring kingmaker), such a TV deal may prove a wise and very lucrative career choice. While I’d like to see her as POTUS, the odds of her getting elected to anything are about zilch. She could continue the news/talk circuit and make a good living there. She’ll land the occasional advisor gig and make a very livable income from that. Books can be worked into any career choice. But ... Judge Judy 2? As noted above, Judy made something like $200M just being herself in what’s little more than an improv sitcom aka reality show. Work about 20 hours a week, take side “real world” gigs, write instant-bestseller books in spare time, live wherever you want and can manage to set up a small video crew, ... sounds like a financial dream come true.

Plenty of the I-like-Sarah-but posters have shared much of their unwelcomed advice to Palin on many FR threads over the years while their own lives are still in tatters and of little interest. Vicariously, they must feel superior to her, in some very mysterious and unknowable ways.

“When Sarah turned down $1 million per episode for six additional episodes of “Sarah Palin’s Alaska” in the fall of 2011, I though for sure this was a sign she was running for president. Obviously, it was not.”

I did, too, but when I saw that her theme was running against cronyism, I knew she wouldn’t be able to get any big donors or GOP support.

Judy makes I think $54 or $45M a YEAR and I hope Sarah gets there shortly.

I kind of wish she wouldn’t do stuff like this. She’s been burned before, and it gives her critics ammunition against her and her supporters.

It reminds of childless couples who lecture parents on how to raise their kids properly.

I agree. Nothing wrong with a reality show if done right. Many here have praised Duck Dynasty. There was another one that introduced viewers to available, high paying jobs. Didn’t Sarah have previously a show about Alaska?

Yes, Sarah Palin's Alaska. I don't watch reality shows but I did this one. It was pretty good, very informative and a nice plug for the state of Alaska. It's a beautiful state with terrific people.

I respectfully disagree that it is beneath ones dignity if done right. Usually I do not find jobs that are not immoral/illegal/sleazy as beneath one dignity. One exception was Bob Dole in ads for male enhancement.

Shoot, all the naysayers, If Trump can run for the Presidency, There isn't anything Sarah can't do.

Actually you are wrong. Sarah couldn't finish her term as Governor of Alaska.

So was endorsing Trump ;-)

Well, at least Sarah Palin was able to keep Ted Cruz from winning Alaska.

A tie is as good as a win in Presidential Primary chess, sometimes. :)

Sen. Fred Thompson pitching shady reverse mortgages was also dignity-shattering IMHO.

What a joke.

I agree. Cruz's faltering presidential bid is a joke.

Will he drop out after the math eclipses him, or will he hypocritically soldier on for the GOPee?

If Obama announced this is what he was doing post-presidency, everyone would be rightly mocking him.

I’d rather see her host a reality outdoorsman show.

Now that would make sense, and be a good fit. Having Palin host a courtroom show makes about as much sense as having her host a quiz show.

But if I'm not mistaken, she already tried an outdoor show (Sarah Palin's Alaska). So I guess this latest venture is a trade-off, dignity for money. Nothing very wrong with that. I make that trade-off every time I get yelled at by my boss.

That’s just what we need. More of her mug and that corny voice blasted all over television.

That's why they make a channel change button.

There is always "The View"

BTW: I think her "mug" is beautiful

She jumped the shark when she threw her crusade against crony capitalism out the window and endorsed Donald Trump.

She delivered a tie in Alaska for Trump versus cRuzbio... :)
