The Institutions of higher learning would say NO.. not at war with Islam. That is because they don’ teach Logic 101 anymore. If they READ the Koran, and were serious in their investigation they would see that for centuries Islam has always used violence to promote their cause.
The Koran, written by mohammed, directs followers to kill infidels. Allah was the ancient god of the moon and was depicted by the crescent moon (notice how it is used on mosques and muslim flags). Islam rose from idol worship, but banned worship of other idols. Allah is not the same as the Christian God.
