Which means that the GOP-e has decided that (for whatever reason) they no longer need Cruz to stop Trump, and they didn't want to risk Trump and Cruz combining to gain a majority of the delegates, so they cajoled Cruz into attacking Trump's wife, leading to the expected-and-immediate death by blowtorch.

Which they can use to paint *Trump* as unstable.

Problem is, it won't work. Trump supporters will remain loyal.
