Anytime a caller calls in slamming Trump, he agrees totally. Anytime a caller calls in supporting Trump, he's nasty to that caller. Gotten to the point where I turn him off. Just a couple of months ago, that would have been sacrilegious.

I love all these national polls that keep showing Trump getting a higher percentage than he has gotten in any state. National polls have to be an average of the states. He has not even broken 50% in one state yet.

That is an interesting discussion to have.
For years, Republican candidates have been talking a good game, but when they get to Washington, they go right along with the Democrats--at which time, it seems their goal is to give us socialism slowly, as opposed to Democrats giving it to us fast. Yet it would seem that Republicans could more reliably cement their power by behaving the way the people who voted for them expect.
The people have been clear about their desires for years, while the Republican party has ignored them. Newt Gingrich's "Contract for America", the tea party, and now Trump are clear indicators of what the people want. By going against the wishes of the people, the Republican party does NOT consolidate its power.
So the question then becomes, what is the goal of the Republican party? Has the Republican party been taken over by Democrat moles set on destroying it? If the Republican party resorts to shenanigans to deny the people their choice, will it become so blatantly obvious that the Republican party no longer represents the people that the people turn away from it en masse and it slinks off into the ash heap of history?
Finally, what happened to the party of Lincoln?

Well, the Wicked Witch *does* have a pretty fast broom. It might even be one of the super brooms from Harry Potter. And don't forget, vote fraud favors the Democrats. So, while Trump enjoys a lot of support, don't rule out that underhanded shenanigans can still pull off a Democrat "victory."
Earlier in the day GGG was taunting the moderators and claiming that he had been treated unfairly when he had been zotted previously. To me it seemed like he/she was trying to get banned to stir up more trouble. The person behind the pseudonym most likely has other accounts here as well or they wouldn’t act so flippant. GGG always acted like a seminar troll trying to stir up trouble but unwilling to discuss anything in detail.
I stopped listening to RushRINO on a regular basis many, many years ago when he began channeling his establishmentism thru his “golfing buddies” and his/their hatred of social conservatives.
Now, even I briefly listen for less than 5 minutes, RushRINO is proclaiming his support for CanuckTed or his “full throated conservative, Marco Polo.

Ted Cruz = Business as usual for the globalists in this country. If you liked the presidencies of HW and W Bush you’ll get the same with George T(ed) Bush IV.
My assumption is that Cruz’s numbers are going to fall precipitously not so much as a direct result of the sex scandal, but because of his reaction. He has gone completely off message. He literally hasn’t been able to form a sentence over the last couple of days without Trump’s name in it. He is doing what he accused the media of doing giving Donald Trump free publicity.
Plus the mainstream media has been trying to ignore the story, but it is pretty hard when Cruz keeps bringing it up. This is exactly the opposite of what I told people he would do. I said that he would make one denial in lawyer speak and then refer back to that if he was asked about it. But no, he keeps bringing Trump and the scandal up on his own. It is like subconsciously he is proud of his exploits and wants people to know.
