Well, it’s a lonely road. Sometimes people in the peripheral misinterpret what you’re saying. Others may read too much into something, while someone else spend time analyzing minute details. Signals get crossed, friendships and alliances fray.
Then some accuse you of living under a bridge even though you were always part of the group, loyally fighting alongside them for years using the only methods and tactics in your arsenal.
Good post, but not lonely at all. We have a few dozens of friends over all the time. Most are my college days friends. Another three, I do chess games with. Just can’t do suds now though. :(
