JUST IN: Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski charged in alleged battery of Breitbart reporter.
Here is a hint for you, the public doesn’t care enough about Lewandowski for it to backfire.
For most people it is going to be a non story, other than to maybe deepen the narrative that Trump is hiring bullies which contribute violence to his rallies.
Personally I have yet see anything that convinces me Lewandowski did anything wrong. I think, unless their is clear evidence, we should just let the process play out and avoid slandering someone who may yet be completely innocent.
Nobody hates the first anendmebt more then Ted Cruz. Not sure why you think trump hates the first amendment. You forgot how Ted sided with the thugs in Chicago?
Hillary wins again. Trump will fall; Cruz will fall; the GOPe will slide in their designated loser and the Democrats will sweep to victory with corruption being the hallmark of the campaign and new government.

Why isn’t he in jail?
This is nothing more than political lawfare, like DeLay, Perry, Stevens, Walker. It’s purpose is not to uphold the law but to justify a drumbeat of headlines of the form “Trump Campaign Manager Charged”.
If you look at Corey’s head, he does not even turn and it is not clear from the video that he would even remember an “incident” so minor. Also, there is zero evidence where the bruise came from except from statements of the victim who we know is a massive liar, given her absurd exaggerations. All that said, I think the Secret Service should be the ones keeping people from touching their protectee, not the campaign manager. But let’s face it, the definition of assault is absurdly overbroad in the context of the jostling that goes on the real world at events like this (or at a stadium or in a subway etc...).
A lot of damage can be done to someone in less time and not obvious to observers. It is a serious charge so I hope he is innocent. It would be best for all involved, if it was trained security (SS or other) that did the alleged assault. They would at least have a good excuse.
Thanks for the intellectual response. I support Trump and believe the woman was assaulted by the grabbing. You can’t do that unless you’re law enforcement and believe there is a threat. He is in violation of law for doing that. Worked in Journalism for several years. Went toe-to-toe with Governor Don Sundquist’s staff in Tennessee when they tried to move me. They were unsuccessful.
