How do we know about these things?
I am woman, hear me....
Vote for Donald Trump!
Falwell brought up one of the instances at a sit down conversation. It seemed Trump was surprised he brought it up.
Another instance was a woman in South Carolina talking about her farm being saved and I honestly don't remember how it came up the farm he saved in Iowa. It wasn't from Trump. Not his style. He doesn't seem to want to be boastful about these things.
One weird trick to lose the election: Sell an obviously false narrative so poorly that everyone realizes your leftist garbage.
Well, I know several women who are anti-Trump. They re pro-life and don’t believe him for a minute.
Women that are “offended” by Trump aren’t going to vote for him anyway. No issue.
One thing- does anyone ask why men don;’t like Hillary? /rhetorical
keyboard spew alert
I know plenty women who are irritated with Donald Trump. If the Trump campaign continues down the road of indifference to this alienation, he will lose and lose big.
I have said before on this blog that I do not thin Trump dislikes women. But his habit of infantile remarks about anyone who disagrees with him is bad for his prospects. When he reacts against a female he resorts to sexism comments on appearance or womens bodily functions. When it is a man it is also ridiculing, but is not sexual in nature. Neither is attractive in a presidential candidate.
And I’m a woman in the Chicagoland area and all the women I know personally, and those I casually talk with, are all in for Trump.
Trump will start the general election season in a deep hole with women voters.
To dig himself out enough to have a chance at 270 EV, he will have to basically change the very core of his touchy brittle personalty, and do so convincingly, and then communicate that change to women votes in the face of a hurricane of media antipathy.
The chances of this happening are about as good as my 10-year-old daughter’s soccer team winning the next mens’s World Cup.
Elections are all about voter enthusiasm, and getting one's supporters to the polls.
Not only will Donald Trump be able to rehabilitate his image once the GOPe is defeated at the convention, but the enthusiasm gap exhibited throughout this entire primary cycle has been breathtaking, and will carry into the general election.
Furthermore, Donald Trump will make inroads into demographics that someone like Ted Cruz and the GOPe could only dream of, with the result being a landslide victory that will relegate the Democrat party to minority status for decades to come. The traditional demographic map will be permanently reconfigured, and to the distinct advantage of the GOP.
If Trump can get any decent percentage of the "Reagan Democrat" vote and the black vote (and there are indications that he can), the Democrat nominee will have absolutely no chance of winning.
The nattering nabobs of negativism are being hysterical, and utterly missing what's really happening. Instead, they let the Establishment demoralize them and practice what amounts to magic, by getting them to concede defeat before the fight even begins.
So far.
Ted Cruz couldn't even manage a majority in his home state of Texas.
Let's see how Donald Trump, comparatively, does in New York...
He’s not most people’s choice. He’s a boor.
I’lll vote for Trump in the general. He’s about as liberal as Hillary except for his claimed current position on borders and immigration. But that’s reason enough. And he might appoint a decent judge. Or he may not. But that’s still better than Hillary.
That said, you’re right about seeing how Trump does now that the contest is moving into some swing and blue states. His “change the map” ability wasn’t proven in Florida, where Hillary actually got a few more votes than him. He got more votes than her in Ohio, another swing state, but Kasich’s many votes there may not be a sure thing for Trump in the general.
Wish it could be made so just by saying but doubtful. I’m concerned about a 49-1 state or similar blowout and losses across the country. I know we think it couldn’t be much worse that the WH and Mitch and Ryan, but, yes it could
I think there’s a Public Trump that engages in behaviors we’re well aware of in order to promote his business through his brand. There is also a Private Trump that relates to individuals, in particular his family, employees, friends and even occasionally strangers, that is remarkably different from his public persona. We only rarely get to see it.
Grasping? Your post just might be the definition of grasping. Good grief has this place gone mad?
