Made a comment in another thread that the loss of viewership could result in a change of broadcast time. I posted that Levin might find himself in the 1:00 to 4:00 a.m. time slot.

The broadcast network will not just stand by and allow a massive loss of advertising due to a massive loss of listeners.

I do not know the current ratings for Levin on KSFO but KSFO was one of the first to pick up the show years ago after months of appearing as a guest on the Lee Rodgers Morning show.

This and other changes coming appear to have more to do with problems at KGO and how to keep a senior on-air personality. Finding a slot for Owens was essential as sister station KGO continues to struggle. It seems to me. Their biggest asset is the late night rebroadcasts of John Batchelor. IMO.

Actually there is no time change nationally. What I was talking about was the station that carries Mark in the Phoenix valley has always had to carry him delayed due to conflicts with other programs they had slotted.

Now they have made the change to broadcast him Live, which is 3 to 6 in the summertime in the Phoenix valley area. I assume he will be broadcast 4 to 7 during the non-daylight savings time for the east coast.

Arizona stays on standard time all year except on the Res. up north.
