It is disgusting to those of us who are pro-life and passionate about it.

It’s way too obvious now that Trump doesn’t know much about the issue and doesn’t care too much about the issue.

He made an off the wall statement that he thought would appeal to conservatives. Since he knows little about conservatives or conservatism, he misfired badly.

He then tried to walk it back.

You can’t play gotcha with someone who does have core values, AuntB, and Cruz does.

Yeah, he's been out making his own living instead of sucking at the teat of the taxpayers, policy wonking, working for government (i.e., producing nothing) and getting elected and reelected---and getting rich on corruption with lobbyist bribes. Like, you know, Ted Cruz.

Unlike Ted, Trump has had no time for lawyering or selling influence. He's been too busy PRODUCING. In the private sector. That's how we want it now. NO MORE PROFESSIONAL POLITICIANS PERIOD. That's how we GOT in this mess we're in.

It’s pathetic to watch Cruz supporters here who claim they are more Christian and Conservative than we Trump sinners brigade are spin the notion that if by some miracle abortion were illegal that women who pay for illegal abortions and murder their babies anyhow should suffer no statutory penalty

If there is no penalty for illegal abortions then it’s not against the law

It’s just a suggestion

I personally don’t care what the pro life professional lobbying orgs say

I don’t have much in common with them beyond opposing abortion

Their queasiness hasn’t gotten 45 million spared since Roe has it

Tying that up in a culture of sanctity of life in general complicates it
