Read the GOP website. Only 2 delegates from each state go on the rules committee. Not 2 from each candidate, 2 from each state. It’s naive to think the GOPe isn’t going to do everything they can to stack the rules committee. Changing the rules is how they’re planning to steal the nomination.

Read the GOP website. Nominating rules are adopted at the convention.

Cruz is upset: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2016/03/30/ted_cruz_would_be_nothing_short_of_crazy_to_change_convention_rules.html

You have delegates from the states that go to the convention that serve on the rules committee and vote at the convention.

This is not new.

Well yes. Each convention is entitled to make it’s own rules. How could it be otherwise? They are are always the last convention’s rules with a few modifications, mostly non-controversial. The state delegations (or anyone else) couldn’t prepare without feeling confident most of the rules will carry over. How does anyone know there will be 2472 delegates if there are no rules?

And every convention considers some controversial proposals as well. In a close contest, those particular rules fights generally indicate which candidate will prevail.

No. The rules governing the convention are passed by the convention. Until, then, there are only guidelines. (i.e. temporary rules)

Again:

Who is the GOPe in your definition? How do you determine who is and isn’t GOPe?

“I will burn him down to the ground!”

What is that supposed to mean?

How will you do this?

This primary is a disaster. If trump doesn’t get the nom. I’m sitting out. And no I did not sit out 2012. I voted for Romney because he got the nomination fairly.

Romney got the nomination fairly by getting the 1,237. Are you saying the only thing that will be fair this primary season is for trump to get the nomination with a plurality?

I think trump wins Wisconsin. Trump is winning independents 37-23 trump-Cruz. Kasick has 20. The early voting is helping trump too.

I don’t want a guy winning who won three primaries. That is ridiculous.

Your post is a non sequitur. Organization is key to any attempt to garner the nomination of a political party.

Are you talking about Cruz? If so, He’s won 10 primaries, not 3.

I will come forward (loudly) detailing the shenanigans that I experienced during Operation Chaos in 2008. I was elected as a delegate for Hillary. (Yes, I am conservative. No, I am not a converted Democrat.) I watched as Obama’s ACORN thugs used the DNC rules, threats, and intimidation to steal delegates from Hillary in states where she won the primary. Cruz better be playing by the rules and not resorting to the same tactics as ACORN. (No, I am not a Trump supporter.)

I filed legal affidavits in 2008 at the request of Hillary’s campaign attorneys. The affidavits describe in detail what I witnessed. If Cruz employs the same tactics, he is a fraud. I don’t think he is, but I won’t stand by and watch it happen again.

No it is not. After a vote is given the winner gets the votes period.

Oh I see. You don’t count certain states because they caucus instead of primary. yet everyone else in the election process does. Gotcha.
