Some website stated that Cruz mom renounced her US citizenship to become Canadian to get medical benefits—was according to Cruz mom’s neighbor at the time. Her name was mentioned...I cannot remember the site. Have not seen anything else about her.

That might explain why INS stuff on his mom is sealed.
