President Barack Obama is trying to leave his mark on the institution that helped launch his career as a national politician: the US Senate.
On Wednesday, Obama and Vice President Joe Biden waded into the Pennsylvania Senate race, endorsing Katie McGinty in one of the more high-profile state-primary contests in the country.

He’s leaving his mark all right. In much the same way my dog does when he happens upon a lamp post.
And not a very good one at that.
Beelzebama, the son of Perdition..
Air Force One will be renamed “Failure 1”...
Well put.
I try ;)
That’s him!
yep, 666 leaving it everywhere
aka as Gog in prophecy
Hey now—you’re going to have to apologize to my dog for that one! : ).
He’s already done enough damage to his legacy by damaging this once great nation.
In a couple of years all that will be remembered of him is the new ObamaCare tax, high unemployment coupled with McJobs, and Ferguson/Baltimore.
Because of the fact that early on it was established that any one who said something about the “can-do-no-wrong” emperor was subsequently pasted with the racism label, the criticism was stymied.
This means “shaping” his legacy is going to be an illusion. It’s “shaped”. What we think has had to be held in, sublimated, we’ve all been cowered into silence.
I think we will soon find that blacks were secretly embarrassed by him. He will be blamed, and rightly so, for damaging the Dem party beyond repair. Obama will be seen for what he’s been—a divider, a catalyst for unprecedented and unnecessary chaos and strife, at home and abroad. His endorsement will be the kiss of death.
You’ll be the worst ever, Barack. Get used to it.
There are several things going on here. If Hillary takes the White House then Obama will have little to no role in the post Obama Democratic party. The Clintons will run it as a private influence farm. But if, for some reason, Hillary does not take the White House, then Obama will essentially be in a position to run the Democratic party and influence American politics and policies for decades to come. He is putting a toe in the water and instead of backing the favored candidate is backing the underdog. If he pulls off a win then he will begin cementing in the legend of his influence. You can bet she and her constituents were chosen with a cold, hard realistic look at pulling off an Obama influence win.
