It was predicted to be huge and historic.
But it was bigger than that.
Wisconsin's turnout rate in Tuesday's presidential primary exceeded the states own bullish forecast, topped any Wisconsin primary since 1972, and easily bested that of any state that has voted this year except for New Hampshire.
Nearly 2.1 million Wisconsinites voted, based on unofficial returns.
Essentially, half the people that could vote did vote: roughly 47% of the states voting-age population and an estimated 49% of all eligible voting-age citizens.
"Thats unusual," said turnout expert Michael McDonald, for a contest "this late in the presidential election calendar."

Election FACTS on Wisconsin Primary election.
FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
Was the fraud high too?
Waukesha County, Wisconsin: 2016 Cruz 75123 Trump 27186 Kasich 18521 total: 120830 Sanders 26339 Clinton 24784 total: 51123 2016 total: 171953 2012 Romney 51329 Santorum 23874 other 7489 total: 82692 Obama 9442 total: 9442 2012 total: 92134 2008 McCain 28160 Huckabee 13926 other 1313 total: 43399 Obama 37662 Clinton 34009 total: 71671 2008 total: 115070Fascinating numbers.
This is important. Everyone knows that the candidate is not allowed inside the polls, except to cast his vote in his own precinct, on election day. This is just an another example of Trump flaunting — or not researching — the rules.

Yeah. Wisconsin loves the GOP.
Right
In my post #5, it looks like 20,000 Democrats dropped off the Democrat side [though the primary was as hotly contested as the 2008 primary], and 25,000 Republicans magically appeared to push Cruz WAY over the top [Cruz, a social conservative, got 25,000 more votes than Romney in 2012 - in a county known for voting for social squishes like Romney and McCain].
>>Trump Could Face Fine for Illegal Electioneering in WI<<
I read on another Thread that the story was debunked.
Trump did not Violate the Electioneering Law. He was over 100 feet away from the Polling Location, but a Competitor’s Supporter said he went inside.
I have no idea why someone who doesn’t like Trump would lie like that, do you?
here was the usual Wisconsin hinkiness going on.

Why GoPe loves open primaries
Haven’t heard of any fraud — just an election violation by Trump, himself. He reportedly entered a polling place during the election which is forbidden by Wisconsin law.
No, it’s an example of not being true.

My dream team has always been a Cruz/Walker ticket. It will never happen of course, but man, it was nice seeing them campaigning together.
I have absolutely no idea why you sent this to me. There’s no context!
Well they're well on their way to that!
“I have no idea why someone who doesnt like Trump would lie like that, do you?”
Most Cruzers are as big liars as their candidate!
