Actually, she’s applying a tried and true liberal maneuver. By confessing preemptively, she clearing the deck for a future as a soccer commentator, commercials, etc. Because she has now confessed, if anyone should bring up past drug use she can respond that it’s “old news” and just keep on trucking.
